Zoggs & a summer of swimming!

Just before we went to France we received an exciting parcel from Zoggs. They had sent us to try out while on holiday a fabulous longer length swimsuit for me and some dive sticks for the boy. Being 5”11 I struggle with swimsuits as they are designed for average person a good 6 inches shorter. Because of that a lot tend to be uncomfortable to wear and need a good grip and yank at the front to keep everything in place. The Ella swimsuit in longer length is about two inches longer than my standard ones and was because of this so much more comfortable. Its quick drying and this was confirmed when we did a morning swim at 10 and it was dry again by four that afternoon (the one day of hot sunshine!) it was great to swim in and I could relax for the first time in quite a while and do some proper lengths. It was also great for mucking about with the boys in!

They also sent us some of their fabulous dive sticks. I was a little unsure about these as neither of my boys can really swim underwater at the moment and don’t have very much confidence in the water. However the first day at the pool my eldest tried picking them up with his feet and after half an hour braved going under. Eyes shut of course and hands over nose but hey it was start! The following day he braved opening his under water and within a week was diving down to collect them. By the end of the fortnight both children had gained so much confidence in the water it was amazing! Just from these simply dive sticks! We have used them since coming back in the local pool and my eldest will now swim the length of the pool underwater. They have caused such wonderful progress in the space of two weeks that I can’t recommend these enough. Both children have gone from being wary and hating splash to jumping in and not being able to wait to get in the pool! A huge thank you! Both the swimsuit and the sticks get a five out of five stars!
