The most wonderful season of the year!

To quote Anne of Green Gables “I’m so happy I live in a world where there’s Octobers”

I love autumn. To me it’s the most wonderful season of the year. The colours, the cool air but warm sunshine, then later the crunch of the leaves under foot. The nights coming in early and the smell on the air of a smoky wooden fire and then curled up in front of your own with mulled apple juice! Just sheer wonderful heaven for me!

Recently best offers bingo wanted to know what your favourite part of autumn was. The results made me chuckle. What an overwhelming majority who agree with me about the leaves! By the way if you live near an arboretum now’s the time to start heading down for gorgeous photos!
