Review: Hintons Picnic Bag

Recently we went to Brownsea Island and had a wonderful day. When we go out for the day we have a tendency to pop lunch in our bag. It’s an awful lot easier when we have allergies and don’t fancy having to hunt down somewhere we can eat. So we were delighted to review Hintons floral personal cool bag by hothouse.

A very pretty and stylish collapsible cool bag it has a double zip. While I tend to use inside a larger rucksack it also comes with an adjustable shoulder strap and padded carry handles. It does come with a front pocket, not large but perfect for slipping in some wipes or a fork and spoon.  It’s been great to pick up in this hot weather and pop my lunch in, even sandwiches when I’m at school.

Despite it being 4l I’m surprised just how much fits into it! I’ve managed to get sausages rolls (gluten free of course) corn cakes, pulled ham, mayo, knife, crisps, apple, juice, yoghurts and a chocolate mousse.  A pretty decent amount I think!

They offer the whole range for sale and I’m currently very tempted by the family cool bag too! I can’t wait to use it in the winter too. I’ve put in hot food, a jacket potato and it lasted four hours of being warm and edible before it started to cool. Its just perfect for hot lunches and warm quiches perhaps in autumn. What do you take out in yours?
