A walk in the woods...#countrykids
This weekend we headed out to some woods locally that we hadn’t
explored. We were amazed by just what was there! Deep in the woods we found
logs to balance on and jump off, trees to climb, valleys to explore…
Then we discovered a little bridge just perfect for a
couple of games of poo sticks.
Venture around a twist in the path and the most beautiful
views struck us! The ground just gave away on to the brooks filled with
wildlife and cows. We followed the path and came out of the woods on to the
brooks and working our way around found an old water mill!
It was a gorgeous walk in the sunshine and the boys loved
it. There was so much to do and so much to explore. We cant wait to get back!
Oh my your boys have grown up so much, what happened to those little babes that came to stay at coombe Mill? when I see a post like this I wonder where the time has gone, now they are running round those woods, climbing, jumping, exploring and really enjoying themselves. a great place to spend some time and I hope you get to return.
