Water Slides of the World

It’s that time of year isn’t it really? Spring has warmed us up enough that winter is long out of sight and we’re all aching for long hot summer days and the chance to get way. 

We however have just obviously moved house and we cant afford a huge holiday. Our dream destination of course would be to visit the gorgeous South Africa and visit family out there. One problem of course being that our summer holidays are their winter holidays and we would be colder there than here!

There’s a park out there I would love to take the boys too called Sun City. Its Aztec themed but boys is great fun! For a start you can float on tyres while you go water rapids and soak up the warm sun or head in to the wave pool and either swim against the tide or just jump up and down in the surf.

One of my favourites from there though is the slides. They are something else all right. A 98ft sheer drop pretty much! There are of course more gentle ones tucked around but I stand at the bottom of this slide and marvel like I do at ski jumps! One day I might be brave enough to go the top!

At The Palm in Dubai looks fairly fun but launching myself into a pool of sharks in Tenerife or just launching myself into mid-air in Colorado are two things I can’t ever quite see myself doing!
