Fancy Dress from the fabulous George at Asda
World Book Day – One of my favourite days of the year but the
dread of mothers all over! Chatting it over with some of my friends they remember
their mums spending weeks making outfits or outfits being made over night and
hurriedly dried with a hair dryer! And then if it isnt World Book Day its a childs party! We've had last minutes "oh we decided to theme it and let them dress up" texted across an hour or two before the party starts!
No need to worry though any more. George at ASDA
has a gorgeous range of dress ups which are thank fully more literature based
at least on something other than marvel figures only and even better they start
at a fabulous £12.50!
The boys were allowed to choose their own and Jack decided
to go for Harry Potter while out Knight mad went from the knight from Julia
Donaldsons Zog. I adored the quality and the detail as did the kids. From the
foam sword for my knight in shiny uniform to the glasses and wand for Harry
Potter every detail had be checked. They have some fabulous different outfits
in their range for girls and boys. I think my favourite for the boys in the
very hungry caterpillar although mine have outgrown it, it really is gorgeous! And
for the girls why not be an horrible histories Egyptian Princess or a pirate?
Both the boys managed all day in them without a rip or
tear or being over heated and have a fabulous day! Thank you Asda &
Talented Talkers no more late night sewing or stuff tights to make spider legs
for me! They have since worn both outfits at various parties and have been
washed numerous times. They’re still going strong and look as good as the day
we received them! Well worth the money!
