Doc Martens: How do you wear yours?

When I was 12 it was a very warm summer and I remember visiting both London & Brighton with a couple of weeks of each other. I can remember walking down the lanes in Brighton and spying a pair of rather gorgeous flowery Doc Martens boots. Needless to say I didn’t get them despite I think asking quite a few times! Then they seemed to drift out of fashion slightly, not a lot after all Doc Martens have had huge followers from policeman to socialists to musicians since they broke theUK scene 50 years ago. However they seem to be re-emerging A LOT recently!  They are a superb choice of foot wear for a huge variety of style from adding an edge to the girly skater dresses and cardigans to polishing off skinny jeans and jumpers.

One thing I remember is how heavy they were but I’ve just received a pair from Mastershoe Myshu and they are beautiful and made from canvas! They are perfect teamed with thick tights and flippy skirt and lots of layers and not being so heavy they’ve been great to walk about in! They still scream the classic Doc Martens design but just slightly more girly and fun! Regardless they are still perfect to slip on and stand out from the crowd in!
