Elf
With
the fabulous Will Ferrell this has been a huge hit since 2003. When Buddy the
Elf heads off to New York to find his real dad he struggles to fit in. Soon he
wins over his new family and of course spread a little Christmas cheer.
Home
Alone
This
has my two boys in hysterics and quite frantically since its arrival in 1990
its become a huge classic (we’ll ignore HA2/3 and 4!) Of course 8yr old
Macauley Culkin is left home alone when his family head off for vacation. In
the course of which he deals with two burglars and manages to defend his home
in time for his family to arrive Christmas day.
The
Nightmare Before Christmas
The
only one I haven’t seen! After all who ever had shrunken heads tied together
with sleigh bells and Christmas? Well Tim Burton of course. Jack Skellington
gets fed up with Halloween town and enters portal to Christmas Town. Can he
save the day?
Miracle
on 34th Street
A
big store executive Macys if I remember has to hire a new store Santa. She ends
up hiring an old man called Kris Kringle. Who is the one and only Father
Christmas and tells everyone so too. He ends up being hospitalised for being
delusional but can hope and love save the day? Well its Christmas so…..
