SuperFresco Easy - Review

As you know if you’re a regularly reader we have a 5 year project with our house! We are slowly doing it up bit by bit. This last month I’ve been working on the hall way. It’s very dark and we constantly have the light on as the paint on the wall is a dark cream and seems to suck the light out rather than reflect it round. So when I was offered to review Superfresco Easy I jumped at the chance.

Superfresco Easy wallpaper uses a special technology which means you paste the wall not the paper! It’s also super easy to peel off so when you’re ready for a change no need for steaming and scraping and sore backs! All the colours of the wallpaper have been created so you can mix and match and they all blend with each other. There are 312 different styles on the site so you’re bound to find one which is fantastic for you. They also claim to half your decorating time! So does it?

Well the afternoon we put aside to start decorating we ended up looking after a friend’s child as well as boisterous two! A perfect combination for ladders and careful matching up! I put blind faith in Superfresco Easy and decided to just get started. We’d chosen the very beautiful Geneva which has a slightly pearlescent effect to it to brighten up the area and to reflect the amount of light we do have.

As soon as we got started and I managed to create a plum line out of string and weights we noticed that we don’t have a single wall in our house which is straight! Never mind we could work around this! The wall paper was amazing! We managed to slide it into place so that the patterns matched perfectly and cut the paper once it was in place on the wall. Within an hour and half, which also included frequent stops for lemonade, we had wallpapered pretty much all our hallway! The difference is amazing and looks very luxurious and gorgeous! We were just amazed by how quick it is. Graham & Brown have some fabulous videos on their site which just shows compared to traditional wallpaper and paint just how easy it is to put up and removed!  I wasn’t as quick as the guy in the video but I managed to do 6 walls and numerous corners and doors within the hour and half which also included working out the plum line and mixing up the paste!

We loved it and are amazed by how quick it was to put up and move round the difficulties in your home, in our case crooked walls and odd switches. We also think the range of styles are great too and are thinking of using one of the other combinations to flow throughout the rest of the house! The only thing I would say it do make sure you take note about where the holes are for your mirrors and hooks!
