Getting ready for camping holidays!

Do you know what we did this weekend? We took full advantage of the weather and took out tent trailer to see how it weathered over the winter. We haven’t finished emptying the garage yet of boxes so it had to brave the winter on the drive and needless to say after the rain we’ve had we did expect it to be somewhat grim. HA it wasn’t! The lovely floor/lid (the lid flips over on a hinge to be the floor, cool hey?) kept the worse of the rain off! A huge sigh all round as it means if the weather continues (ignore todays wind & rain) we could go away at Easter!

See Lego IS essential!
Do you camp? We’ve been going now with the boys for about two years and have a nice long list of things we’ve built up which are now deemed as essentials. We tend to visit the fields where there is a cold water tap at the far end of the field! I’ve been looking up with delight at the parents travel kit & washing bowls which fold up. I might actually just keep one in the car for when we go to the beach or even when the boys are playing in mud. They seem to attract dirt like nothing else and you can guarantee there’ll be no where to wash their hands for hours! Actually I rather think I might just need one of every travel gear I saw on Safariquip website even though they are based in the UK. We have the dog camping as well for the first time this year too so I suspect extra collapsible bowls for her will be needed. It’s amazing how much you can amass camping with kids which aren’t really essential and therefore you do tend to end up leaving the essentials at home or at least I do. After all I’m sure I could make a makeshift table with enough lego if I really tried, couldn’t I? Heres my list of essentials. What would you add to this?
Informing me what else we need! Any guesses as
to what he said? ;)
