Sun, Sea & Sand!

Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Just down the road from us is a beautiful beach. Did I mention it before? A long sandy stretch where the sea drifts out for miles at low tide and the you can wade about 10ft and it is still below your ankles. In the height of summer there's barely space to move but during the winter months and out of school holidays its for the locals only.....

After the storms of the past couple of weeks nothing felt better than water in our wellies, ice cream in our hands, salt spray in our hair (now you know why theres no photos of me) and sand everywhere! I now have a pocket full of sea shells, wet toes and a cold tummy but gosh is it welcome! Enjoy your weekend all of you!

  1. There is something wonderful about a beach out of season, when you have it all to yourself (and maybe a few locals too!). Lovely photos of some very welcome sunshine!
