Catipilla Cat Scratcher & Discount

Cats need to scratch right? We have two indoor cats so you can imagine that we have to be quite careful of our furniture with their claws. We have bought and used all manner of scratchers but none really seem to have stuck with the cats or have looked hideous and taken up half the room on their own, and recently we figure out why…

Knowing we had two indoor cats who were indeed they sent us their scratcher for Indie & Anna to review. Their scratcher though is a little different from the ones you find instore. Mainly the size! Cats love to stretch and scratch and quite frankly even the climbing trees don’t offer this availability. Using south American sisal rope the Catipilla scratcher is a very high quality, simple to install – it took us less than 3 minutes – tall (sizes offered are from 50cm through to 130cm, they offer a 35cm for kittens) and stylish! Ours attaches to the back of the door and is therefore tucked out the way when need! Plus the sisal scratcher can be rotated or replaced as it becomes worn!

The catipilla as I said was super easy to install. While we attached us to the back of the door it also comes complete with wall plus for placement even on light walls. We traced the places for the holders, and quickly screwed in the holders. As soon as the two holders are in place it’s a simple click into place and almost immediately we had two cats investigating!

I have loved watching Indie & Anna with the scratcher. Not only are cats just beautiful when they stretch Anna uses this as a climbing tree and can often be found perched on the top watching her brother. We do though have to be careful coming into the room though now when the doors are shut otherwise a paw is likely to come out and bat you at ear height!

It has proved invaluable too with our new sofas. A month down the line and they are still perfectly intact!
