Five Nights At Freddys - Board Game

Check out the popular video games at the moment and you can guarantee that among the top ten will be the scary Five Nights at Freddys. And now for your over 8s it has been bought to life in a board game!

The game features s 3d Freddy figure, a pizza tray, 24 pizza tokens, a spinner wheel, tongs & instructions. Batteries are need – 3AA which aren’t included but that aside the game is ready to go as soon as it comes out the box. It took the boys minutes to set the game up. Pop Freddy on the tray, push his head down and switch it on! The scary music starts and you’re ready to play! The base feels sturdy and well made though you have to be gentle as you press down on Freddy!

The evil and scary Freddy holds all the pizza tokens in front of him and the aim of the game is to spin the wheel and depending on where the arrow ends up you can either skip your turn or brave the tongs and try and steal the matching pizza tokens out of Freddys tray. Don’t trigger Freddy or he’ll jump and you’ll lose!

The boys enjoyed the game although my youngest being too young really to play didn’t enjoy the music. They found the game very easy to play though and spent about half an hour playing on it. It was a very easy game to win though if you have a steady hand and I suspect would have provided more enjoyment with more players!

Overall, it’s a fun game and the kids enjoyed it but I suspect it might tire quickly among adults.  It RRPs at £24.99 and is available to buy from Character Online & all good toy retailers.
