Win 1st Aid with Yellodoor
Being an outdoors family we have numerous first aid kits, one
for the car, the rucksack and oddly even in my handbag. We are often out without
kids, beavers and scouts and more often than not when we have younger siblings
come along too. This is absolutely fine of course until someone has an
accident. Most younger children and I remember my boys being like this too won’t
let the cut have a plaster easily put on let alone to being able to cleanse the
wound.
The same occurs at home when you’re trying to take their
temperature. Kids especially when they aren’t 100% have short attention spans
and really do not want to sit still while we take their temperature or calm their
down to find out what’s wrong. Something St Johns don’t really cover when you’re
on their 1st aid course.
So when I discovered that a dad I used to work with had taken
this all on board and made a child friendly first aid kit I was over the moon
to review it and introduce you all to it. Yellodoor’s
main intention in life is to make you (and your kids smile)
Isn’t it fabulous? It really is a kit with children in mind.
Not only is it fun but its an amazing kit. It contains 54 essential items you
would expect and want in a kit.
ü 3 x non alcohol sterile
wipes
ü 2 x 4 by 3 cms plasters
hypoallergenic
ü 2 x elbow/knee plasters
hypoallergenic
ü 16 x children’s Humpty
Dumpty printed plasters in card envelope (latex free!!)
ü 1 x printed plastic
medicine spoon
ü 3 x sheets of 6 reward
stickers (18pcs)
ü 1 x Information leaflet
ü 1 x Finger puppet
distracter
ü 2 x Burn shield gel
sachets
ü 1 x Non adherent
absorbent dressing
ü 1 x conforming bandage
ü 1 x green first aid
scissors
ü 1 x adhesive tape
hypoallergenic
ü 1 x sterile eyewash/wound
wash pod
ü 1 x Digital thermometer
in printed box
ü 2 x Sting relief
medicated pads
As I said everything has been thought of from non-stinging alcohol
free wipes to the gorgeous Humpty Dumpty puppet to help distract your little
one. Humpty Dumpty plasters and stickers to me are the finishing touch!
Monkey got the sticker for being brave! |
I took this down to a local toddler group to see how the kids
found it and I was amazed. For a start it’s not a clinical boring green bag
which is whipped out when they fall and the amount who made a grab for the bag
to look at the pictures on it were fabulous. They all loved the puppets and
half the kids demanded a sticker and plaster to show off and examine without
having fallen over. It was great to see the tears and upset so quickly turned
round to smiles!
So much fun to play with! |
This is most
definitely an essential for any parents or grandparent and I would highly
recommend investing in one. You can buy them from Amazon
incredibly reasonably as they retail at £14.99 with free delivery. However, to
make this even more worthwhile Tim (the dad) has offered you an extra £2 off using
code: 8Z7P-DJNEJ3-9G4UCW Is he fab?
Then just to make this
even better he’s even offering one to be given away to you. So enter below for
your chance to win one of these fabulous kits and turn your kids tears to
smiles.
