Start half term off with an Adventure...

In just over a fortnights time we will be heading up to London Excel to a fabulous event. The Outdoor Adventure & Camping Show! It is the UK’s largest outdoor show and will be at Excel from Thursday16th February to Sunday 19^th February.

It is a totally amazing show and a great to start for half term! If you love the outdoor or even want to know it a little better, regardless of your passion be it camping, climbing, photography, extreme challenges or travelling, there is something at the event for you!

We’re heading up because it is the ideal place for families. A Discovery Zone allows you and your family to try out new activities – climbing, slack line (cannot wait!) and even caving. My eldest has tried caving before through scouts and it’s something he’s desperate to take the rest of us on. Personally I would much rather try it first here! Back again as well is the animal man with his wonderful world of creepy crawlies & reptiles for you to touch and explore!

One place I can’t wait myself to head over to is the Camping Village. With some of the hugest brands in camping such as Outwell, Vango, Kampe and Zempire they will create the biggest display of tents anywhere else in the UK. We have a summer planned of adventure and camping and this will give us a huge help in planning activities and trips!

Not only will you have top brands such as North Face, Berghaus, Jack Wolfskinwho will be showing off their latest kit but you can head over to the Survival Camp and pick up bushcraft & survival skills! Over 300 brands will be there just to entertain you and welcome you to the world of Adventure and why not like us head up for the weekend. What bigger adventure after all is there then Tim Peakes adventure into space? Check out his capsule at the science museum and make it a weekend of Adventure!
