Baker Ross Halloween Crafts

Halloween is just round the corner and while my children don’t trick or treat they still love to celebrate. Carving pumpkins and spooky crafts are a perfect way to keep them amused at the weekend and in the evening.

Baker Ross has a superb selection of halloween crafts for this time of year and they sent us some to review. Both the boys enjoyed the kits which were sent and have spent most evenings this weekend working on different craft activities.

The first thing they started on was the pompom Halloween animals. They absolutely adored making these up and they were a fabulous introduction to the crafts. We popped on a great film which they settled down to watch and they got really into the activities.

The fridge foam picture frames were amazing. They come with a basic background and then you can build up each house to your own style. The colours are lovely and bright and the boys managed to get on with the set without any help. They were popped up on the fridge and we can’t wait to get dressed up to pop the perfect picture in.

Next they had a go at the fill in dot pictures. A selection of themed pictures and coloured dots are in the pack and I thought only the youngest would get involved with this however the eldest got stuck straight in. He couldn’t wait to make up a blue and purple bat with green wings. The youngest had a little difficulty getting the dots off but we weren’t allowed to help! Absolutely superb for fine motor skills.

Also included in our set were some Day of the Dead treat bags and a lovely lot of bright coloured pens. These were coloured in the following evening with lots of ideas about exactly what they should put in theirs. In each pack we loved that there was more than one item to be made up and a good 3 or 4 if not more in many.

We absolutely loved the whole kit and have popped on to the site to see what else there. We putting in a quick order as the boys would love a party and some more crafty items to do with their friends. Absolutely superb. Do go and check out the craft selections they have!
