New washing machine
The past week our washing machine which has been with us
since we got married finally died. Having had parts of it replaced bit by bit until
it was almost a new machine its motor gave out and we reluctantly drove it to
the skip.
10 years old! Perhaps we’ve been naïve but I expected it to
last longer! It’s not really something we had been planning on buying this year
as it was a great make and other kitchen equipment we bought at the same time
still seems to be going strong. We do carefully budget and while having a
savings account it’s still a lot of money to have to find overnight, taking a short-term loan such as Vivus
for such unplanned emergencies could help with this. Recently Which said
unauthorised overdrafts are more expensive than short-term loans - http:// www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-36 746372
The ideal! One day....one day!!! |
Really! Every time you turn
it on you get a little musical tune and once its finished its cycle it sings
for a minute to let you know the cycle has finished. We have been really
impressed with their stain release technology and the lack of water it uses.
The whites are whiter then they have been for a while and the clothes come out
much drier than our last lovely machine.
Obviously it’s not as
exciting as the golden retriever we were and still are saving up for but I
suspect it will probably do a lot more around the house! Do you guys have a
savings account for unexpected emergencies?
