Kinetic Sand Bakery

With two boys we don’t often get sent kitchen play ideas to review so they were both over the moon to be sent the Kinetic Sand Bakery set.  

The box comes with every thing you need to make your own bakery. Sand & tools etc and even better the box turns in the bakery. Slot in the shelf and lid and you immediately have a bakery set to show off your goods. You can then fold it back up again for storage. The boys weren’t too honestly bothered about that bit but they loved the rest…

Kinetic Sand – of which you get two bags is mouldable sand which will hold its shape. Made out of 98% sand and 2%oil it mimics wet sand. Its easy to brush off and pick up too. The boys had great fun playing with the sand. It comes with pink and blue and a set of moulds and presses. They really enjoyed these but struggled with the plunger. The sand would fall out and they couldn’t get it to stick to each other. However it didn’t stop them and they really enjoyed playing with sand and making cakes.

The boys loved playing with the sand and also with playing with the bakery. They liked that you could break the sand up, run it through your fingers and build and mould! I loved how easy it was to pick up the bits and pieces!!
