As we head for spring, look out for
this one as its set to be one of the smartest kitty Cat Cafés in the area. Watch this space.you! How cool do these places sound?
Cats are fluffy, soft and make
wonderful pets. And while felines may not hold the title of man’s best friend,
recent trends suggest they have a loyal fan base when it comes to taking tea
and being admired. This has been noted from the vast number of Cat cafés are
popping up left, right and centre in cities across the UK.
While skin care, hair care and
foot care fanatics My 7th Heaven are experts in make your body look and feel great,
they are also passionate pet lovers themselves. Because of this, they have put
together a list of the UK’s top city cat cafés. Let’s start with the capital,
London…
London
Lady Dinah’s collection of fabulously furry pussy cats is
probably the most famous in the UK. Based in Shoreditch, this place has been
going strong for a few years now and has become a popular tourist destination
within the London borough of Hackney.
Birmingham
Whiskers Cat Café love cats so much that they have recently
announced that they are making the café the heart of their fundraising effort
for their new charity. This charity will be helping cat shelters all over the
West Midlands.
Liverpool
Café Purr is run by a couple of qualified veterinary
professionals and is the first 'crowd funded' cat café in the North West. They
regularly host themed events such as ‘cat lover speed dating’ as well as an
ongoing kids club.
Newcastle
Watch the Tyne go by while
stroking a Persian moggy. As Newcastle’s finest cat café, Mog
on the Tyne provides the
ultimate feline fantasy for you, a friend or a loved one to celebrate while
comforting a kitten.
Edinburgh
Over the border, the Scottish
are just as keen on the cat café as their English neighbours. Maison
De Moggy is less café and
more so a custom built paradise for cats to climb and play. They are of course
encouraged by their dedicated cat nanny to give cuddles and socialise over a
pot of tea.
Nottingham
The Kitty
Café is particularly
special as is a centre for rehoming and caring for cats which weren’t as lucky
as others. We like to refer to Kitty’s as the Cat Café with a conscience.
