Annabel Karmel Baking Kit

The boys adore baking and getting hands on in the kitchen and we find it a great way to have some family fun together. It also means that their lunch boxes during the week have something they made it in and guarantees an empty box!

Casdon who are teamed up with Annabel Karmel know exactly what’s needed when baking in the kitchen and she has produced some fabulous baking and cooking sets for the kids to use.

All the sets Casdon create are all approved by Annabel who includes inside of each a special recipe for your children to make. We’re had pizza sets, cake moulds, cutters and general bake ware and the boys adore all the tools. They are bright, colourful, and easy to clean and the kids just love getting stuck in.

We recently received the baking set which comes with 20 accessories and a mini cupcake set with a mixing spoon to try out.

The baking set has a fabulous orange plastic bowl which has a lovely silicone antislip base so cuts down a great deal on messy mixing! Also included is a silicone spatula, plastic measuring jug, measuring spoons, pastry cutters and a round baking tray and of course a special little recipe.

The whole set is incredibly well built and perfect for smaller hands! The boys loved creating special cakes and biscuits with these tools. We ended up using our own measuring spoons as these are plastic and the only thing I don’t really like in the set. The boys struggled to read the amounts and they broke once being in the dishwasher.  We also tried out the mini cupcake set which has great reusable silicone moulds which sits inside a 6 tin tray. I would recommend cleaning the moulds by hand though and giving them a good soak to get them really clean after.

All in all the boys had a wonderful time and really enjoyed getting involved.
