The cost of keeping warm...

With the temperatures set to plummet this weekend do you ever wonder just how much it will actually cost to keep warm? The superb graphic below from CES Group (London’s leading electrician and plumbing company) just gives us lovely insight into this. Based on having your heating on for 7 hours a day from October through to April this is the estimated cost broken down by type. I love the fact that underfloor heating is actually cheaper than an electric radiator!

What do you use to keep warm during the winter? I have to admit our heating is on far more than should it be. I think looking at this I might need to invest in a thicker duvet and maybe the odd jumper!
