Darling Collective & The Chocolate Craft
Recently I’ve started working with the
Darling collective, who really
are all darlings, and they sent me on a Chocolate Craft Workshop. My thoughts?
What an amazing day! I have to say I
do eat a lot of chocolate but have never tasted chocolate quite like this. You don’t need any experience to try
this out as they teach you everything you need to know. We were given a
chocolate mould and could create a bespoke ganache from a stunning arrange of
extras and essences.
We piped
our individual ganache into our moulds. These were topped off with melted
chocolate. While these cooled we were taught some fine piping techniques to
decorate some premade lollies. It was incredibly easy & well taught and we
had no problems creating a fun lolly.
Booking
was easy and straight forward and the lovely people at Chocolate Craft double
confirmed too for peace of mind. Wonderfully, as my family are gluten free, the
chocolate was gluten free too which can be quite rare these days.
They
talked us through the chocolate and how to make these at home. Having tasted
the chocolates after they were cooled they hands down beat any you can buy in
the shops. So much so that the following day I headed down to shop which sold
the chocolate to melt and make my own. No more Cadburys for me!
I took
my husband along to this event and he had a fabulous time as well. This event
would be a perfect afternoon treat either with a group of friends, a birthday
treat or even just to spend some fun quality time with your other half. There
was the opportunity to purchase everything you had used that day and more
chocolates in case you wanted to keep yours to yourself (which I highly
recommend) and buy some more as gifts.
Its inspired me to make more at home
and a lot of people this year received some fabulous chocolates as a result of
me having an incredibly fun and fabulous day!
Yummy!
