Bloobry Review
It’s not often that you get something to review that
even the postman comes in for a better look at but since we put it up we have
had repeated comments from visitors at the front door. What is it? A miniature but
just as fabulous Big Ben clock from Bloobry.
Look at that detailing! |
I cannot fit the whole in one photo! |
Vinyl wall stickers are a fabulous way to alter a
room or to add (especially in our case) a statement in your room. We were offered a choice of their designs to
review and the boys were immediately taken by their Big Ben clock. Standing at
180cm high and available in a huge range of colours my two boys wanted it in
red. Well fair enough I though, we have a largish entrance hall which is rather
blank and it would be lovely to have clock in it. Because with Bloobry you don’t
just get a fabulous (and really the detail is fabulous) art piece but you get
an actually working clock with it. And I have to say I adore this effect. It
looks stunning and everyone has taken a double look at the clock dial and
remarked about it. It also looks remarkable fun and elegant in one if that’s possible!
We received the clock in a tube with a simple 6 step
instruction leaflet. We measured up the wall and started to unroll it press the
vinyl down only to discover that our walls are slightly crooked! No problem! We
gently eased it back off and slowly redid it (this time with a spirit level!)
The only tricky bit is with the finer details up the top end of the clock. It
took a little practise but it does look amazing and I can imagine how amazing
the Antique clock must look. I’m fairly certain with a lot of patience you can
have these up in a couple of minutes but it took us 15 from start to finish
what with measuring, reapplying, spirit levels and hunting out a pin to hang
the clock from. I actually think that’s pretty good because it really is
stunning and I adore all the fiddly bits up and down the clock!
Now I need to start working on Rory to try and get
him to buy me the Antique Clock for above my fireplace. Just how amazing does
it look?!
Oooh those are brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah, they are rather funky I have to say!
