Cardigan shawls are in this Autumn. From the catwalks of Raplh Lauren to the streets of Milan. The perfect piece to lift your winter wardrobe! Why? Mainly because there are so many ways to wear them.On the warm but crisp days when a coat is just to warm they are great worn over a long sleeved top. Flip the collar up against the wind and team with a fabulous belt you can head from the sofa to streets to out and about in the evening.

Incredibly versatile the main thing to get right is the fit. Snug on your shoulder and loose down the arms but slim down the sides is the designers description on how to wear these.  Now with so many styles around where do you start? Long, chunky knitted it has 20% mohair which not only keeps you snug as we venture further into winter but it adds a lovely sense of style! I team it with a lovely kilt style skirt and boots and a gorgeous belt, my mum with jeans and a completely different belt where as my grandma slips in on over her silk shirt to wear out for the day. And it looks incredible on all three of us!
