Channel your inner Steve McQueen
In 1950’s Clarks created a pair of boots – the desert
boots. Using British suede from the tannery in Leeds and a crepe sole made with
rubber and using a hand carved wooden last. It still is today. Comfortable, sturdy
and rather smart looking I doubt they had any idea just how fashionable these
boots would become and stand the test of time
We recently were sent a pair to review and I don’t think
since my husband first tried them on have they been taken off. Liam Gallagher
pretty much wore his Clarks Original Desert
boots throughout the whole of 90’s and was rarely seen without them. In
fact he was so taken with them he worked with Clarks to create his own design.
Bob Dylan, Robbie Williams and even Sarah Jessica Parker are huge fans of the
comfort, ruggedness and fashionable boots.
Rory has worn them to business meetings, on a cruise, out
to the pub and just for casual walks around. The simple design means they can
be worn in any situation. Within three wears they have moulded to your feet and
become like gloves. They have become a
staple in his wardrobe as they look perfect with jeans & a jacket or styled
with a smart suit. Perhaps channel your inner Steve McQueen who was barely seen
without his and style with everything!
