Spring decluttering..
It’s time for us to start a spring clean here. Well I say
spring it’s more of a post-Christmas/need to find space clean. Please tell me
the rest of you run out of room at this time of year? The toys which haven’t been
played with for months on end or the clothes that while adorable and gorgeous no
longer deserve the hanging space. Or the shoes bought in the sales to be grown
out of before even worn! I tend to I have to say sell them on EBay if I can or
on local sales boards. Of course I do make sure they are clean, fresh batteries
and so forth and normally it pays for a fabulous trip out at Easter or February
half term.

One problem though which if you follow me on twitter too
you’ll be familiar with is the rather haphazard service we get from our local
postal service. Which if you’re selling things online you want to keep a
reputation for good delivery and not find things missing to turn up months
later! And of course we constantly send presents to families and friends in South
Africa where I think their postal service lives on weekly strikes. We use the
lovely reliable TNT service to ship those large
parcels. Thank heavens they ship international as well as UK.
Perhaps if I was more organised I would be doing this at
the end of autumn clean like one of my friends (she’s uber organised) Maybe I’ll
try that this year. Give me a nudge
readers in August or you can guarantee I’ll forget entirely. So how about you all? Do you do a mini whirl
wind declutter after Christmas or are you super organised and do it before the
leaves have fallen?
