Zanussi #Easytips - Cake, Strawberries & Ice cream!
Zanussi
recently asked me to join their #EasyTeam. The Easy team is everyone who
shares hints, tips, ideas and recipes that can make your life easier.
They sent me this month three #Easytips to try out and share with you.
Colourful Cocktails:
EASY! Simple freeze some grapes or strawberries (or if partial to G&T)
lemons in a freezer bag and use them instead of ice cubes. Prevents the end of
the drink being watery too!
Salted Caramel Ice-Cream (Nigella Lawson recipe)
Ingredients
397g Carnation Caramel or dulce de leche
300ml Double Cream
¼ Teaspoon salt
1 Pinch of sea salt flakes to serve
Method
1. Put
the caramel into a large bowl & stir to loosen slightly.
2. Add
the cream & salt, then whisk until the mixture is thick and just holding
its shape.
3.
Scoop into a 1 litre airtight container & freeze overnight
4.
Serve with a few flakes of sea salt sprinkled over.
Microwave
in a mug
Ingredients
2
Tablespoons SR flour (I used Gluten free)
2
Tablespoons Sugar
1 Egg
1 ½ Tablespoons
Cocoa Powder
1 ½ Tablespoons
Nutella
1 ½ Tablespoons
Milk
1 ½ Tablespoons
Veg oil
Method
1.
Combine all ingredients into a large coffee mug.
2.
Whisk well with a fork until smooth
3.
Microwave on high for 1 ½ - 3 mins depending on your microwave
4. Top
cake with whipped cream or fruit if desired.
