Swimming Goggles
With the summer fast approaching the boys have been in and
out the water perfecting their moves and building their confidence for the
water fun ahead. So when Simply Swim asked if we’d like to put some of their
favourite swimming
goggles through the test we accepted
These are a great soft fitting frame and when I first saw
these I thought they would hand downs be the boys favourite. They have crystal
clear vision and a soft fit around the edge as well as being incredibly
lightweight. They have an anti-fog injection when we tested them out in the heated
pool they came out the best of all three. I liked the fact that they have a UVA
& UVB protection and the curved lens give a much better viewing range than
similar priced goggles we’ve had in the past.
These are a huge favourite of both the adults and older boy
in this family. The crystal-clear vision we go through these lenses was
amazing. The photos were taken in the pool but swimming in a lake and these
came out top there too. They didn’t fog up as they had slightly at the pool and
the vision under the water in the lake was miles better than the other two.
They came with their own carrycase but having been taken in and dropped and
thrown in bags a million times there have been no scratches to the lenses and
they still look as new. They’re also very easy to adjust the sizing on these
yourself. Both my husband and son can wear these and they are so easily
adjustable there’s been no comments about whose is who! They also both
commented that when swimming they hardly felt as though they were on. And as
the cheapest of the lot a huge 5 stars from all three of us for these!
Now these are much funkier looking than the other two and my
youngest has refused since he got his hands on them to give them up. Again they
have anti fog but they also have anti-glare and he swims three times a week
with the sun in his eyes. Up until now it has caused huge issues but he’s been
wearing these and is far far happier. While they have a polarized gold lenses
to prevent the glare they have given a perfect tinted vision out the other side
and he can now look down at the glittering water and into the sunshine without
being affected. Again, these have a great UVA UVB protection and a great soft
edge which has given a perfect fit around the eyes. He rates these as his 5
star as he is affected far more by the sun than the other two!
