Ravensburger - Summer Breeze

What better way this month to while away the gloomy evenings and watch them get ever lighter than with a beautiful jigsaw puzzle? Because the latest puzzle we received from Ravensburger really is beautiful. Garden Vistas No.2 Summer Breeze is a truly stunning and colourful summer garden scene. Slightly smaller than some of my normal puzzles this is a 500 piece. Bright and vibrant the original picture by artist Anne Searle is packed with gorgeous flowers and plants; Canterbury Bells, Sweet Williams, Hollyhocks, Poppies and Foxgloves. It just calls out to you to wander along the path and go and explore.

Of course as with all Ravensburger products the quality is high. The linen finish print is a wonderful touch and leaves the picture clear, easy to view the high quality images and with no glaze or shine. The finished piece is about 50cm by 36cm and is perfect (in our house) to pop on a large tray and pour over. Included inside the box is the usual leaflet telling you more about the artist and the image and a further picture for reference – perfect for sharing around!

As ever we started with putting out the edges and having all the sides and corners up. I love sorting out the edges from the middle and popping certain colours together in the edges of the box! We spent just over the week playing with this puzzle and it was incredibly satisfying. We spent about half an hour each night so in total about 3/4hrs on it. Each flower as it was made can’t help but make you smile. And no grimacing later and discovering that the wrong piece has confused you with the Ravensburger quiet click.

We really enjoyed Summer Breeze by Ravensburger and its gained a place as one of favourite Ravensburger puzzles. With the RRP being well under £10 this makes a perfect addition to any home!
