Miraclesuit Briefs - lose 10lbs in 10secs

I love Miraclesuit. I reviewed last summer a gorgeous swimsuit which looks fabulous on and gives me much more confidence by the pool. This spring they have sent me their Sheer Extra Firming Hi-Waist Brief – Lose 10lbs in 10 secs!

My main issue is bulging! I’m not over weight more untoned and I definitely have a mummy tummy! I’m a curvy 14 which is some dress sizes classes as 16 and I was sent an XL which classes as a 16. Perhaps because of this I didn’t find them too tight at all.
They are lovely and high and came right up on me which is surprising as I’m rather tall and most stop quite low. I loved it, it means a much smoother silhouette rather than an odd little bulge which appear on some. The fit is perfect and the leg opening a decent size. There is a slight sticky edge to the leg holes to prevent slipping but quite frankly once they were on I didn’t notice it at all.

The extra firm control which these have really do give a lot of power. I found some pinch in the past and was worried that as these slim your bottom, tummy and waistline that I would be uncomfortable but these didn’t at all. I wore them for about 6 hours yesterday and actually forgot for the most part that I had them on. I did sit straighter when I was sitting down as there is the support there and it doesn’t let you collapse too easily but otherwise they were comfortable enough to wear for a long period of time! The gusset is cotton so these don’t need to be worn over the top of your standard pair, they will in fact replace them.

The briefs do have seams in them but they are flat sewn and don’t rub. You also can not see them through clothes even close fitting ones. They also don’t ride up or roll down! Fabulous.

I did try wearing them with different outfits and while I don’t think I looked hugely slimmer I looked much more toned! Dresses looked miles smoother and I lost that mummy tummy! And while I didn’t think I looked slimmer when I wore it under a pair of jeans which were a tight snug there was definitely a lot more room there and I would need a belt if I kept them on for longer.

So all in all what did I think. Well I looked much more toned, I lost that mummy tummy and while I don’t think I looked a dress size smaller the briefs weren’t as tight on me as they would have been on a standard 16. If I had a 14 and wore L I suspect that there would have been a more noticeable difference and with the extra holding in might have pinched a little more. I would give a good 9 out of 10. They have a RRP of £29.70 and you can pick up a pair at the bra closest online.
