Review: Portable North Pole

We love Christmas and my youngest at 5 very much still believes my 8rs old is at the stage where he’s not too sure. Each year in the run up to Christmas we log on to Portable North Pole to watch the free children’s video from Father Christmas. Its lovey but my eldest last year twigged he had the same message as his brother. However this year we were asked if we would like to review their gold pass – it allows you access to 7 videos, phone calls and a special birthday message. Unlimited videos within that and free HD downloads. And unlimited phone calls from Father Christmas. All for £9.99.

The site is easy to use and each video is easy to personalise with photos and names. Each video allows up to 15 personalisations per video and it was great to add in their best friends & cousins’ book on the shelf next to them. They loved the photos of them on their big trips and holidays this year.

We watched my youngest first and I don’t think I’ve see his dimples stay so strong for such a length of time. His video was 5 minutes long and he was captured at the start. It’s incredibly engaging and Harry couldn’t wait to find out if he had made it to the nice list or not! My eldest was ready to see the same video and the look on his face when it swept to Father Christmas in his ice house and being a completely different video was just amazing. It was lovely to see the magic spread across his face while he watched and he was just as enchanted by his video as his brother. Well done PNP for making them all so different! It helps hugely with siblings! Here’s one of our videos below. You can also download a certificate to remind them of it too. Come and join us on twitter for their Twitter Frenzy on Thursday, 3rd December between 1-2.30 pm. Use the hashtag #PortableNorthPole
