Ravensburger: My Haven No.5

The evenings are definitely starting to draw in and that can only mean one thing? Puzzle time! And that of course can only mean Ravensburger. I love their gorgeous Mr Haven collection and this month we were lucky enough to review No5 The Cake Shed. I think my favourite part was under more product information came the story behind the picture! the owner of this well-organized shed started decorating cakes as a hobby … but her pastime has now developed into a small business, with plenty of commissions ready for collection” How can you not be drawn into imagining what you do with all the filled jars and ribbons and you piece this together?

The image is just filled and my first thought was – great this should be nice and easy! Ha! With the background of muted pastels it really upped the challenge on the image. We spent a week and a very rainy Sunday pouring over this image and the boys couldn’t help but imagine what sweets were in the glass jars and just how yummy the cakes looked and if we could possible please make identical cakes too!

The puzzle is a perfect size at 1000 pieces and makes up a finished puzzle of 70cm by 50cm when complete. As ever with Ravensburger the image is printed on with a linen print which minimises the glare on the image and also gives a sharp image and great accuracy when putting pieces together. It of course also includes the Ravensburger soft click technology where each piece makes a soft satisfying click noise when put in place.
Of course with Ravensburger you can find this in all good toy shops or you can purchase it online at places such as Amazon. It RRPS at £13.00. Find out more here at Ravensburger.
