Review: Casdon Little Cook Kitchen

We are huge fans of toys that offer up role play and toys that use the imagination. Despite having boys they have had kitchens and ironing boards to play with. Its great way for children to interact and learn important skills such as social skills and communication. So when asked if we would like to offer Casdon Little Cook Morphy Richards Kitchen set we jumped at the chance.

Harry’s class room is full of role play but as yet I have not seen these gorgeous toys. We’ve tried them out this past week in the beach hut (play house) and as the all-important kitchen in a space rocket.
I think the boys favourite by far was the coffee machine! We loved the cutlery and food items and have served up A LOT of breakfast but by far the kettle, coffee machine and toaster have been the favourites!

The mini items are perfect replicas of the “grown up” versions and we loved the little details like the timer working on the toaster! It actually last longer before popping up as you turn the dial round. We also adored the fact the kettle shows how much water is in it. Needless to say after this but the coffee maker really works too! Compared to other products on the market of the same sort we have found this by far the most realistic and fun. It could have done with being a little large than it’s made by a really good 9 stars out of 10!
It RRPS for £12.99 online at places like Smyths & Amazon and is a great little toy to have around the house.
