Ozeri Cookware

Ozeri are a new brand to the UK selling their kitchen products on Amazon. We chose to review their 12” wok pan as its look rather different to our wok and we suffer in ours that it doesn’t work on our induction hob.

Ozeri’s wok is a smooth ceramic coated style. This means that’s once the pan is hot it stays a constant heat through out. No more cold edges. It was a shock at first when I managed to burn the food but after the first go when I realised how it works it was fabulous. We’re now using it not as a wok but as our day to day saucepan. So far I haven’t been able to get anything to stick to the bottom no matter how much I’ve allowed it to get burnt. Its incredibly easy to wash up too! We haven’t put it in the dishwasher yet but then theres been no need. We leave the wok to cool down and the rinse it out and a quick wipe with the dish cloth and it looks as new!

Also Ozeris wok and pans ceramic coating is completely free of PTFE and PFOA! This also includes the fact that being ceramic coated any harmful chemicals from aluminium is also prevented from leaking into the food. A big plus in our family!  “Conventional non-stick cookware is achieved through a coating of PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene), a synthetic substance that has waxy properties. At very high temperatures, PTFE begins to decompose and release fumes which are documented to be lethal to birds and small pets, and which can be harmful to humans”

I can highly recommend these pans. Although it took a little getting used to I wouldn’t swap it now for the world!
