Citizen Eco-Drive Watch

One of our resolutions this year was to become less throw away where we can. We’ve stopped the plastic throw away straws etc changed the toothbrushes and tried to research where we can. We have Solar Panels too on the roof which provide our electricity in the house from march to November but how can this be extended? Well in rather glamourous way – a watch. First Class Watches who are a retailer for over 100 brands of watches offered us a range to choose from to review. Immediately one stood out – The Eco Drive watch from Citizen.

Can you guess why? Well it never needs a battery. It runs off solar power. Don’t worry you wont be left without knowing the time in winter or at night. The watch charges up or normal day light and can run off the charge for 6 months in a dark draw. After that just bring it out to daylight again.

The Citizen women’s expansion bracelet Eco-Drive is a very gorgeous classic style with a white dial on a stainless steel with a gold two tone. I didn’t need any links taken out, I do like a loose fit but First Class Watches will provide this for free on all bracelet watches.. Its water resistant thank goodness, I forgot to check till after the shower! It has a crystal clear mineral glass window which also shows off the date and time. It comes too with a 6-year warranty, instruction manual and Citizen packaging. It’s a beautiful high-quality watch with a fabulous discount.

I haven’t worn a watch in years -relying more on my phone for time telling but this has barely left my wrist since it arrived. I love the style as it goes with every single outfit regardless of if dressing up or down. It has been inside a car engine, I was assisting fixing of parts and up and down trees but still despite rough treatment looks as good as new. As to First Class Watches. The delivery was swift and well packaged. Any queries I had were dealt with quickly and efficiently and all in all I can highly recommend them whether you’re looking for yourself or as a gift.
