I’ve always been a huge fan of The Book People. The minute that catalogue pops through the letterbox I inevitably grab a cup of tea and settle down to indulge in the latest offering. I truly adore books and its quite frankly where the main disposal bit of my income goes be it books for me, the children or as gifts.

So why does The Book People come up as my favourite? Have you been on their site? Just stop for thirty seconds and check out their childrens handpicked favourites here! See they are the same books you find in any decent book shop but at a bargain of the price without being a bargain basement.

There are truly a humungous range of books at The Book People and I am lucky enough to give away today some of my own “handpicked favourites” which if you were to purchase individually in a well known high street book store would cost over £140. So what are they? Starting with my eldest favourite we have the Young Bond collection which is perfect reading for young teenagers, Enid Blytons Jolly Good Food- can you have a summer hols without the Famous Five?
