2 New Rides At Peppa Pig World

We had our own Royal Invitation this week which was none other than a very special preview event of the new rides at Peppa Pig World. The immediate reaction in the house was big cheers and yes pleases. While the eldest now looks on Peppa as a fun cartoon to snuggle up with his niece and nephew it still holds a very special place in the youngest heart!

The fabulous Peppa Pig World is based within Paultons Park near Southampton. Its ridiculously easy to get to as its just off the M27 and the parking area is huge and little distant from the park entrance. Perfect for those smaller legs!

The boys headed straight for Peppa Pig World and into the VIP area where the new rides are based. With celebs also enjoying the day out the boys felt like royalty and couldn’t wait to head on to the rides. The expansion of the Peppa Pig world almost doubles in the size the area and despite the amount of press, media and cameras and other VIPS the area didn’t feel cramped or busy.

The new area hosts two new exciting rides and a new tearoom. Grampy Rabbits Sailing Club the first ride of the day is a fun gentle boat ride around the new section filled with scenes of Peppas adventure. As the boat gentle spins you around, you meet the Queen jumping in muddy puddles, sail around Pirate Island and quite frankly you just don’t know where to look there so many fun scenes. After we had explored the parks the boys demanded to go back and ride Grampy Rabbits Sailing Club a further two times!

The second new ride is just amazing. The Queens Flying Coach Ride takes you up to the top of the park and gentle gives you a tour of Peppa Pig World. The monorail takes you in the carriage around the new section while Peppa and the Queen chat to you along the way. It’s actually the perfect ride to start the day as you can glimpse all the ride from the carriage and discuss what to go on next!

My youngest’s favourite part of the day was meeting George! His favourite character of the show and he couldn’t wait to run over and demand a hug. He insisted after that on a photo with all the Meet & Greet Peppa Stars!

After this the boys demanded on checking out the rest of Peppas world and they just loved the rides. The favourite being the slide and tractor ride. Despite how gentle the rides are they are so much fun you can’t get bored regardless of your age and we spent more than 50% of our time at Paultons in Peppa Pig World.

We checked out Little Africa and then of course as George would we headed to see the dinosaurs in the Lost Kingdom and my eldest even got to tame a T-Rex! With a preteen and a youngster with us Paultons and Peppa provided us with an amazing and fun day out with no one getting bored and being too young/too old to enjoy the rides – a huge task! It’ll be definitely on our list to head back soon and we’d highly recommend it for all ages!

A huge thank you to Peppa Pig World for inviting us to your Grand Preview Event! One of the best Royal Invitations for this year.
