Happy Days: The Coalman
Ravensburger produce some of the most gorgeous picture going
in pictures. No stranger to this is the 11th in their series of
nostalgic pictures – Happy Days at Work The Coalman. The scene is a set in the
‘60s and the picture shows the coalman driver accepting a festive gift. Set
against a cold and snowy picture-perfect village its gorgeously shot through
with colour and the vintage lorry draws your eye in.
Not as large as many of the Ravensburger that we have this is
a great set at 500 pieces. This meant the boys were more than happy to tackle
the jigsaw themselves. The finished puzzle is just under half a metre and is
49cm by 36cm when complete. Its aimed for 10 years and up which is fairly
accurate. My youngest 7yrs enjoys completing it but he did need help from his
brother. As ever with Ravensburger the picture print is high quality. It is a
linen finish print which means there no glare on the puzzles and with soft
click technology you can’t leave a wrong piece in for long! As ever the colours
and print are accurate of the image on the top of the box.
The Coalman by Ravensburger is a
fabulous set which rrps at £7.99 It is the perfect puzzle for someone who
doesn’t want too difficult picture to complete but still enjoys a good puzzle. The
size of the pieces are chunky enough to not to bend and will last!
