Arokah - Boardgame review

Board games I have discovered come in all shapes and sizes. Thoughts of monopoly and cluedo have been whisked out my head by all kinds of recent discovery’s. One of these we were sent to review over Christmas. Arokah!

Arokah is a wooden multi puzzle. A brain teaser far more than a standard board game. 6 levels are included ready to boggle and tease the brain. The thing which I have loved most though is that you aren’t mentally sweating over one solution but many so why after completing the level take a couple of pieces away and see if you can solve it another way.

The first level players start as a “Tyro” or rather a novice and you progress through the various different levels until you become a “Doyen” or rather a Master. All levels are based around the structure of a hexagon be it flowers or honeycombs or something else!

The quality of the whole product is just gorgeous. I love wood and I adore the contrast between the light wood pieces and the darker board.

 Aimed at 7yrs plus and RRPing at £19.95 direct from its own site – Arokah is a great product to have in the house. Both the boys have had a go and often find my OH have a quick and I’m sure it helps clear his head after work! I would definitely recommend this to have in any household as you can’t help but play!
