Stampin Up - Kit review
I love receiving a handmade card. There’s something extra
special isn’t there to know the person sending it you took time out to make
something unique and with love.
Stampin Up UK
are huge fans of homemade cards too and sell everything you need to easily
produce your own. They sent me a kit last month - OhHappy Days, which retails at £31.50 but includes everything you need to make
at least 20 cards. It works out as less than £2 a card and of course you can
reuse the stamps and ideas again and again. Included in the kit is everything
needed to make these cards but they do also sell a huge range of individual
bits and pieces to make up your own selection.
It was rather nice to take an hour or so out of my day and
spend it enjoyably making up cards for the month ahead. Not just birthday cards
but the “thank yous” and “thinking of you’s” which are also needed.
While there is few instructions included it is so easy to
make these cards up that you don’t really need them and the possibilities if
you wish to go off plan are endless! The kit also includes some lovely brown
heavyweight envelopes to send your cards off in. They do scream quality and
quite frankly even if you have no artistic skill it’s very difficult to go
wrong!
Having made up all 20 cards in the kit there is still a nice
amount left over to make future cards and gift tags for those extra special
presents.
