Mac in a Sac

In the middle of June my eldest and I were sent a great product. Mac in a Sac. A fully waterproof, windproof and also breathable jacket. My eldest received a luminous orange jacket and I was lucky enough to receive one of the unisex coats. Perfect for dog walking in fields as it’s a much longer length and will keep your legs dry from long grass.

However with the arrival of jackets we also seem to have received nonstop glorious sunshine! Perfect for this time of year but not of course when you want to text out a waterproof!

Features

The mac in a sac comes packed in a bag. My favourite part of this is that it isn’t a separate bag but actually is the pocket of the jacket itself no chance of losing a small bag on your travels. 

My eldests Mac in a Sac is in bright orange neon – perfect to spot on a gloomy day and comes with a water repellent zip & a foldaway hood. With elasticated cuffs, pockets and a back vent its perfect for heading off and exploring in. It also have a wp of 7000 (7m’s of water pressure over 24hrs – that’s a heck of a lot!)

Mine – the longer travel coat style is in a Sangria colour and incorporates a 2way zip, adjustable cuffs, detachable belt and again a hood which can be hidden away. Both are come with a 2yr guarantee and are perfect on the sizing.

They are lovely and lightweight to the point that you do not notice it when its attached to your bag or added on to a lead.

Testing

So far we haven’t as yet managed to test these out in the actually rain however in case it hits we have been prepared. They have been with us since they arrived as they are so light weight and slip easily in any of bags. My sons have been attached to his book bag at school and mine comes out on every dog walk with me and around London this weekend. As you can see from the pictures it comes everywhere. I attached two little carabiner clips and they attach to out trousers. They are so light weight we dont notice but they are there for when the rain starts! 

So much easier and efficient then having to drag round a heavy bulky jacket in case of showers. They pack and unpack themselves in second.
