Finding the Philisopher's Stone...
Can you believe it’s now 15yrs since the first Harry Potter
film? Well the wonderful world of Warner Bros. Studio Tours – The Making of
Harry Potter has decided that this is the perfect time to celebrate the amazing
events that went on to create one of the most fantastic films to grace our
screens. Step back again to the wizarding world to see just how those giant
chess pieces were made to move around the board. Did you know some of them were
12ft high and weighed up to 500 pounds?!
You’ll even get to see how Fluffy was bought to life too! Fluffys
who three heads each had their own personality! And just how fabulous is this
but see how the Devils snare came alive out of the book and see a moving
display of it and even if you’re brave enough touch those huge tentacles!
J.K Rowling was asked to describe the stone and she likened
it to an “uncut ruby” now wouldn’t you just love to see some of the earlier
versions and just revel in how the incredible prop makers created the final
piece!
This special event takes place from Friday 22nd
July to Monday 5th September. Go and visit and learn Ron Weasleys
favourite games of Wizard Chess! Personally I can’t wait to see the slimy troll
snot! Fluffys drool and that oh so horrifying and half-life giving unicorn
blood! Head over to WBstudiotours
now to book your ticket.
