Schleich Toys

With two boys now 6 and 9 its very rare to finds toys they will play that aren’t either lego or minecraft themed. However why not is constantly played with and that’s our Schleich toys. We have a wide range of their toys and I love how they spark their imagination. So when they asked us to review their First Animals and Stable cleaning kit with calf and lamb I had to jump at the chance.

One of the after schools thing that the boys do together is Mini Farmers – imagine really young Young Farmers. And they adore it. Especially the youngest who wants to be a farmer when older. So these sets hit in exactly the right place. As soon as they had arrived the boys had them open and playing with them on the floor.

The First Farm Animals is a gorgeous kit with a freesia cow, pig and lamb and also include is a chicken, apples, carrots and a bale of hay. And the Stable cleaning kit comes with a lovely brown and white calf, lamb, broom, bucket and carrots. A great gift set which work perfectly together.

The toys are aimed from 3 years up and quite frankly I suspect they can go all the way to adults! My two have really enjoyed playing with these and we have friends round of all ages and they have dived straight in to the set. The set is a great size which works perfectly already with their toy farms so this has been dragged out and is currently making up a large corner of our lounge!

The prices start at £7.99 online which for the set and quality of the set I think is a pretty good price. We have had toys from Schleich for almost ten years that have been handled, driven over, sucked up the hoover and recovered, taken in the bath and all round the world pretty much and still look like new.
