Plasticine Review

Don’t you just love plasticine? At least I do and I prefer to a certain other well-known brand. For a start it doesn’t dry out! Which is fabulous especially with my kids who just want to pick it up, play with for a little bit and then dash around outside for a bit and then come back to it.

So perfect really that Flair sent us some of their latest Plasticine sets to review. Unfortunately while I was opening the box the boys whisked out the neon colours and were playing with before I could draw breath let alone take a picture! Do put down a mat or something first as we discovered that some of the stronger colours resulted in our hands and table being stained. The boys loved the fact that the longer you played with it the softer you got. Some of the sets came with tools but the boys actually just got stuck in with butter knives and rolling pins.

Plasticine sticks really rather well with each other while also allowing the end result to be pulled off and lighter colours not ending up the shade of brown so many other types end up in! A great thing about them is that they are such a bargain. The boys have bought the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before and you get change from £2. A great pocket money toy which has been made into their own angry birds, veg and well pretty much anything else you can name!

Plasticine is perfect for aged 3years up. You can get it from Flair and Amazon and all good retailers. Its great value for the money and also has great play value!
