Valentines Lingerie

Valentine’s Day – Who doesn’t love gorgeous, silky, comfortable underwear? As long as it’s comfortable yes?! How often I see around this time of year lingerie that we wouldn’t honestly touch the rest of the year round but is sold even in supermarkets because its red & covered with lace. I love red underwear! It’s one of my favourite colours but wouldn’t it be nice this year to receive or buy yourself underwear that you CAN wear all day?

How gorgeous is this set by Marie Meili at House of Fraser? Marie Meili is a brand which believes in the uniqueness in shape, taste & lifestyle and personally I think their collections show this off. Their ranges are fun, practical and sheer indulgence. We were sent this to review and it’s been comfortable all day. I can even bell ring in this and not getting any rubbing from the wires. And for me the wonderful thing is their sizing! Even the larger cups are given support and gorgeous detailing! Isnt it just stunning? One thing I like is the lace. It’s there and looks fabulous but if I’m wear a light top or jersey I still get smooth lines over the top. I think this will become a firm favourite in my wardrobe and not just for Valentines day! Next up for review are a beautiful camisole & hipster set from Black Spade. Not everyone wants bright lacy underwear to wear but still would love something silky and special and this collection fit that idea perfectly. As soon as I had opened these (they come stylishly wrapped in tissue paper and a box – leaving out the hard work guys) after being sent them for review the thing which stood out most for me was how soft they felt! The top slipped on and fitted perfectly and quite honestly I’m not too sure I would give it up! It’s been worn now under shirts for warmth and I cannot wait to be able to show off the fit and style come spring but just throwing a cardigan over the top. Despite the design being simple the fit makes the camisole look incredibly elegant and stylish. The softness means again it doesn’t rub no matter what you spend the day doing and there are no wrinkle of creases come the end of the day after. The hipsters were a little tight around my thighs so do make sure you order a size up but goodness they were comfortable once on! They didn’t leave any unslightly lumps or bumps and yet don’t seem to be pulling on your tummy either. They don’t spend the day sliding up either which is a huge bonus. On together they look well elegant and stylish and skim wonderfully giving a beautiful look. I cannot wait to be able to show the cami off and will be buying more for Spring!
