Photobox Valentine's - Our story in pictures
Photobox recently contacted me and
asked if I would like to be part of their Valentine's
blogger photo challenge. Of course I jumped at the chance. Photos around
the house are to be miles better than wall paper. I can walk around and smile
at every memory! Photobox very kindly asked me to choose from their products
and tell our story to you through the photos.
Preferably you want a green face but I loved this photo too much! |
Photobox are a truly
fabulous photo company. I’ve used them since I think they first came on the
market. Mainly because they let you know if the photos clear enough to come out
well which in the days of most of my photos being on the phone is fabulous! No money
wasted on a blurry not clear picture. So don’t worry you still have time to
select one of their fabulous products and receive it in time for Valentine’s
day. If you can’t decide can I just point out they also make a fabulous gift
for mother’s day as well!
We have a long mantel
piece which I have been desperate to fill up with much loved photos since we
moved but my youngest is a slight horror and takes everything down about 50
times a day. I couldn’t see precious glass lasting very long up there. So Photoboxs
offer came at a fabulous time. One of the products I’ve been wishing to try out
is their Acrylic blocks. Available in two sizes they are the perfect solution.
So much so that once they had arrived and been put up they have been dropped
twice on to the stone hearth and there isn’t a scratch on them! The photos are
printed on glossy archive paper and then mounted on a 2cm thick polished
acrylic. (RRP: from £19.49)
Since its Valentine’s
day we decided to make the mantel tell the story of our relationship from when
we met to now! The photos range from our first holiday together, our wedding,
the boys and all of us as a family. Every time I look up now, light a fire, go
to leave the room they catch my eye and cause me involuntary to smile. What a
wonderful gift and objects to have around the home or to share with relatives.
Because they are the photo only and no frame personally I think they make one
of the best gifts going! No need to tie yourself down to a frame which looks
out of place…
