Mmmm Chocolate & Easter

Do you ever struggle to buy Easter Eggs? After all do you buy just for the kids? What do you get for yourselves? By the time you’ve figured out all the offers in the supermarkets you’ve end up with more chocolate than originally planned (not necessarily a bad thing) but wouldn’t it be nice if someone offered a collection for a whole family that had been discounted?
Well this year Thornton’s are doing exactly that! Thorntons fabulous online sale at the moment allows you to buy their bundles for half price at the moment. I think the most difficult task you’d have it to decide which collection to go for (go for the biggest – you can never have too much chocolate)

If you went for the children’s bundle with 12 different chocolates to go hunt for they would make the perfect collection to hide in the garden. Why not enjoy your morning coffee in peace while they use these free Easter Hunt Printoffs to find them all?

As to the actual chocolate in these bundles, well, being a grown up it’s the taste which appeals most to me! Thornton’s sent us one of their lovely bundles to review and the chocolate is silky smooth, just perfect for melting in your mouth. The texture is just right too and not grainy like some eggs around.  And the taste…well it’s rather good actually. I’m not a huge fan of white chocolate but even that was pretty good. Not over sweet it had just the right amount of vanilla. As to the packaging, they’re perfect all-round. From the boys little chocolate rabbit to the adults display eggs they have been shown off and displayed to their best in sturdy cheerful boxes and cute display bags.
