John Lewis Secret Santa

To me its not really Christmas (despite the fact that’s the supermarkets disagree) until there’s a certain advert on the TV. Every year I cannot wait to see it. My favourite was two years ago…Can you guess? That’s right its John Lewis! I adore John Lewis, it’s a little like my Tiffanys, I have some gorgeous memories of being taken there occasionally as a child if I had been good. So you can imagine how happy and excited I am to have been chosen to be one of the John Lewis Blogger Secret Santas this year. I’ve never played Secret Santa before so I think I might just be doubly excited this year!

On November 11^th I will be sent a bloggers name and have two days to research their blog and try to find out a little about them and choose which item on the gift list from John Lewis to send to them! Then roll on Friday 25^th November as for us it’s our early Christmas I can see what someone has chosen for me and how my blogger reacts to their gift!  

Do you play Secret Santa? One of friends’ family does this every year instead of stockings!

One of the more popular holiday games, Secret Santa also known as Kris Kringle (Miracle on 34^th street now makes more sense)  is a fun and easy way for a group of friends, family members or co-workers to exchange gifts. So the basic concept of the Secret Santa game is simple. All of the participants’ names are placed into a hat, box, etc. and mixed up. Each person then chooses one name from the box, but doesn't tell anyone which name was picked. He/she is now responsible for buying a gift for the person selected.

Hmm so I wonder what someone will choose for me? I must seem pretty diverse from my blog articles, reading, bakes and outdoor fun? Either way our house is great fun and I just cannot wait to see what’s chosen for me and who I get and what I can choose for them!
